When using Cloudmersive Storage Protect with Azure Managed Identity for Azure Blob Storage, follow these steps:

• Deploy Cloudmersive Private Cloud using Azure App Service
• Enable System Managed Identity in Azure App Service
• When creating your Cloudmersive Storage Protect connection, be sure to select Managed Identity - do not choose one of the Connection String options
• Grant Storage Blob Data Owner role to the Managed Identity on the relevant Azure Blob Storage accounts. Alternatively, make sure that the Managed Identity has permission to read and modify tags and metadata, as well as read and modify the blobs.
