The built-in Cloudmersive Virus Scan Connector in Power Automate (one of several Cloudmersive API Connectors published on the Power Automate platform) does not include Advanced Virus Scan functionality.

To access Cloudmersive Advanced Virus Scan features in Power Automate, you will need to create a custom Cloudmersive Virus Scan Connector.

Creating a custom Cloudmersive Virus Scan Connector in Power Automate affords two important benefits. It allows you to:

1. Gain access to 360-degree threat detection capabilities, including virus & malware signature scanning as well as deterministic content threat scanning.

2. Change your Cloudmersive Connector endpoint from the default Public Cloud endpoint to a regional Public Cloud endpoint, Managed Instance endpoint, or Private Cloud endpoint.

The easiest way to create your own custom Cloudmersive Virus Scan Connector is to upload the API spec via the OpenAPI URL method. This option is available when you click on the New Custom Connector dropdown in the Custom Connectors page in Power Automate:

You can then use the following URL specification to create your custom Cloudmersive Virus Scan Connector:

https://api.cloudmersive.com/swagger/api/virus

When you upload is complete, you can replace the generic api.cloudmersive.com endpoint in with your own endpoint. You'll find the generic endpoint in the Host field on the General Information tab of your custom Connector setup:
