Cloudmersive Private Cloud Offline Configuration and Authentication
3/23/2026 - Cloudmersive Support

Customers can deploy offline configuration that can be used by Cloudmersive Private Cloud when no Internet connection is available. In addition, customers can configure offline authentication as well to enable local authentication without relying on Cloud-based authentication servers.

Enable Offline Authentication

To enable offline authentication, navigate to the Cloudmersive Management Portal and click on Private Cloud Deployment. Select the relevant node, then click on Configure Node. Click on Configure Authentication and then fill in "Always authorize these API Keys" by placing one authorized API Key per line. Click Save Changes.

This will force enable authentication for these API Keys. In the next step we will deploy this configuration for offline and fallback use.

Enable Offline Configuration

To enable offline authentication, navigate to the Cloudmersive Management Portal and click on Private Cloud Deployment. Select the relevant node. Scroll to the section Diagnostics and Troubleshooting and follow the step that begins To enable offline configuration settings. This will save your configuration settings locally on the server so that even in the event the cloud is unreachable your server will remain configured and able to authenticate.
