Azure customers using Cloudmersive Private Cloud can enable 24/7 availability monitoring for their Cloudmersive Private Cloud instances using Azure Application Insights:

• Navigate to the Azure Portal and click on Create a resource
• Search for Application Insights and click on Create and then Create. Select the appropriate region and resource group and then click on Review + Create
• Once the resource is deployed, open it.
• Click on Availability and then Add Classic Test
• Give the test a name and under URL enter one of the following:

http://server-ip-address/virus/status
http://server-ip-address/cdr/status
http://server-ip-address/convert/status

If you are only using the Virus Scan API you can add just one test for the first URL. If you are using multiple APIs, repeat the add test process for all three.

Finally, configure alerts as appropriate. You can add email, text alerts, or even integration with incident management systems like PagerDuty.
